DISTINCTION AWARD
16th July 2009
Great news in that I have been awarded (or rewarded) with a distinction grade on completion of my level 3 fine art photography course, which I took at Harrogate College.
My final self-style module was based on art-nude and I concentrated on the works of Edward Weston and David Hamilton. As well as conducting in depth research into techniques and style of the past masters, I was required to produce 5 connected images.
I was really pleased to be awarded the distinction grade, which added to the distinction I was given in the fashion module and the merit I was awarded following the product model.
The overall grade is an average of the awards for all the modules, and therefore I am delighted with the overall Distinction Award.
Brilliant!
I am now hoping to transfer these skills into producing even more stunning images.
Thanks for visiting,
Best regards,
John
